Hong Kong Energy, Mining and Commodities Association Attends Kanfort Group’s 23rd Anniversary Celebration & Inauguration of Phase I of New Plant, Co-hosts Commodities Market Forum

The Hong Kong Energy, Mining and Commodities Association (HKEMCA) was honoured to be invited to the 23rd anniversary celebration of Yantai Zhaojin Kanfort Precious Metals Co., Ltd. — a company co-founded by our Chairman, Mr. Huang Jianhua — and to witness the inauguration ceremony of Phase I of the new plant in Yantai. At the same time, HKEMCA served as a co-organiser of the special forum titled “New Landscape of the Commodities Market: Opportunities and Challenges from a Cross-Industry Perspective”, where participants jointly explored the future development of the industry.

This grand event marked an important milestone in the journey of Kanfort Group. Over the past 23 years, under the outstanding leadership of Chairman Huang Jianhua and his wife, the Group has consistently upheld the spirit of innovation and continuously pioneering and advancing, setting a successful example for Hong Kong enterprises expanding on the Chinese mainland. The completion and commissioning of the new plant signifies that the Group has entered a brand-new stage of development. At the subsequent commodities market forum, we were joined by distinguished guests: 

- Mr. Eddie Ng Hak-kim GBS, JP, a veteran education sector figure, 

- Mr. Ken Chad, founder of an asset management firm, and 

- Ms. Anna Li, a veteran expert in commodity financing. 

From cross-industry perspectives, they thoroughly explored the new opportunities and challenges currently facing the commodities market.  Mr. Ng spoke about “discovering hidden value” and “Unlocking the potential of independent innovation”, thereby realising the philosophy of “aligned harmony, co-creation, and shared for win-win”. His insights align closely with Kanfort Group’s own development journey — not only driving the sustained growth of the enterprise, but also injecting fresh momentum into the broader industry.
