Good Voice of the Nonferrous Industry 2025

The 2nd "Good Voice of the Nonferrous Industry 2025" Singing Competition by the Hong Kong Energy, Mining and Commodities Association on June 27 this year, the Hong Kong Energy, Mining and Commodities Association held the singing competition at K5 Club in Wanchai, a private club of Vice President Mr. Lau Yu.

We were honored to have an esteemed panel of judges comprising Vice Presidents Mr. Lau Yu and Mr. Chu Kong, Chairmen Mr. Tam Fuk Shing and Mr. Tiger Shi, Honorary Chairman Mr. Stanley Kit Pong, Vice Chairman Mr. Xiao Jinghui, Mr. Frederick Cheng Hok Kai, as well as artist Ms. Strawberry Yeung Yuk Mui and senior media figure Mr. Alex Chan Siu Bo.

This event was made possible with generous sponsorships of cash, gifts, and prizes from various organizations and individuals. We sincerely thank everyone for their enthusiastic support and participation, which brought a joyous evening to the nonferrous community in Hong Kong.

This year’s competition featured 9 contestants from companies such as Merlion Resources, CME, GKEML, Advanced Assembly Materials International Ltd, Jinchuan, and several individual members. The participants delivered captivating and melodious performances. The event was well-attended, with guest performances by last year’s Gold, Silver, and Bronze award winners—Ivan, Daniel, and Yunlong—who added excitement to the evening.

Special thanks to volunteer photographer Zhao Meng, and to Youth Division leaders Anselm and Daniel for their coordination and support in organizing the event.

In addition to the traditional Gold, Silver, and Bronze Awards, two new prizes were introduced this year: “Most Popular Singer” and “Best Stage Presence,” both selected by live audience voting.
