On August 9th, the Hong Kong Energy, Mining and Commodities Association organized an event called "Exploring Zhongjin Lingnan" for members in the Hong Kong nonferrous metals industry. Chairman Yu Hong of Shenzhen Zhongjin Lingnan Nonferrous Metals Co., Ltd. ("Zhongjin") delivered a welcome speech, introduced the attendees from Zhongjin, and presented a short video introduction of Zhongjin to further inform participants about the company's developments in mining, metallurgy, technology, and other areas.

Chairman Yu spoke earnestly, outlining the future development path of the Chinese metal industry based on his extensive experience in the sector. He mentioned Zhongjin's expansion in resources, improvements in smelting technology, and the opportunity to capture rare metals from comprehensive recycling of slag, which not only enhances environmental protection but also focuses on technological development to create new avenues, including alloy manufacturing and electronic technology. Overall, Zhongjin's key efforts will concentrate on the fields of resources and supply chains. Following this, President Pan Wenhao introduced Zhongjin's industry-leading position in trade and overseas sectors. The event's initiator, Zhang Tao, expressed gratitude for everyone's participation and invited the association to report to the attendees on the recent progress of the LME's approval for Hong Kong to become an LME delivery point.

Chairman Yu actively engaged in discussions with the attendees. During this exchange, representatives from various companies, including Jinshan (Hong Kong) International Mining Co., Ltd. (a wholly-owned subsidiary of Zijin Mining), Northern Mining, Jiangxi Copper Hong Kong, Shandong Energy, Baiyin Nonferrous Metals Holdings, HGNH International, Yunnan Tin Hong Kong, Hong Kong Battery Recycling Company, Merlion Resources, Bands Financial, Guangfa Futures, and Jinchuan Group, successively introduced their companies and the businesses of their Hong Kong branches.

During the meeting, all parties expressed their support for the association to continue assisting the LME in approving Hong Kong as a good delivery point, which would help expand the business of various metal companies in Hong Kong. This brings great confidence to our association, and we sincerely express our gratitude!

After the meeting, Chairman Yu led everyone to the top floor to appreciate the prosperous view of Shenzhen and introduced the new building that Zhongjin is constructing in Luohu, and they expected to move in early next year.

Last but not the least, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to Zhongjin for their fantastic arrangements!
